ACTION ALERT
The Conservation of Appalachian Medicinal Plants project is interested in
surveying sites that are scheduled for mountaintop removal, timbering,
construction and the like for plants whose survival is threatened in West
Virginia and/or globally, such as:
Butternut, Dogwood, Ginseng, Lady’s slipper, Serviceberry, Trillium
Anyone knowing of such sites is asked to contact the Mountain State
