Citizens for Clean Elections is a coalition of organizations supporting the Clean Elections concept for financing election campaigns. West Virginia's Clean Elections bill is modeled after laws from Maine and Arizona. It's a voluntary system that would provide full public financing of campaigns for candidates who agree to limit spending and take no money from private interests. Publicly funded candidates are more likely to promote public interests. This "voter owned" Clean Elections system is an investment in democracy and West Virginia's future.
