She Has A Dream for WV
A teacher at the Lavalette (WV) Elementary School
taught students about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., then asked them to
write an essay about their own dreams.
Seven-year-old Makensy Adkins wrote: I have a dream that the coal
company can stop polluting our air and water, which will give us a
better life. They destroy our world, mountains and trees. Some people
fight to give us a better life. And that is my best dream ever.
