(Good Environment) GE, Bank of America, Chevron and Massey Energy each paid less in U.S. taxes in 2010 than you did. That is to say, zero. (Barry Ritholtz, Big Picture) Massey, recall, was cited for 4,500 violations of the Clean Air Act in 2010, and last year, 29 miners died at its Upper Big Branch mine tragedy. Massey paid not a dime in taxes last year, but retiring CEO Don Blankenship trousered $35 million in 2010 severance. (scroll down at link to find this section)
