10 Things You Can Do To Support Clean Elections

1. Contact your legislator and tell him/her to support Clean Elections. You can do this from OVEC's website

2. Write and submit a letter or op-ed to the editor of your hometown newspaper, expressing support for Clean Elections (fact sheets are on our website).

3. Attend "Meet the Candidates" events during the 2004 campaigns, and ask candidates where they stand on Clean Elections.

4. Host a house party and show your friends and neighbors the Road to Clean Elections video. Copies available: Call (304) 522 0246

5. Contact groups who might host and organize a Clean Elections presentation in your hometown. Speakers are available.

6. Recruit the groups of which you are a member to join Citizens for Clean Elections, and then let us know.

7. Get a resolution passed at your City/Town Council supporting Clean Elections.

8. Become a Clean Elections Activist. Sign up for OVEC's Action Alerts! Attend Legislative hearings and meetings when Clean Elections is being considered.

9. Donate to OVEC. We organize and educate folks about Clean Elections. You can do this on-line by going to our website or send a check to OVEC, P.O. Box 6753, Huntington, WV 25773-6753.
