April 18 - 20: Sustainable Fair 2008 ~ "Green Makes $en$e." Davis & Elkins College Campus - Elkins, WV. The fair focuses on sustainable topics including energy, sustainable economic development, food & agriculture, health, architecture, eco tourism, public policy, transportation, small businesses and more.

Highlights Include: Keynote Speaker Deborah Koons Garcia, addressing "The Integrity Of Food" Saturday afternoon; Regional gourmet food throughout the duration of the fair; a "Taste of West Virginia" buffet on Friday evening by renowned executive chef Dale Hawkins (Stonewall Resort) and other Local chefs ($25), with live music to follow; a wonderful "Living In Concert: A Sustainable Feast" benefit dinner Saturday evening ($40); WV Symphony performance on campus that same evening ($10); a track of activities for children is available for ages 5 through 12 all day Saturday; workshops available all through the day Saturday; excursions to sustainable homes and other locations of interest are available on Sunday.
