OVEC Action Alert - June 15, 2002

We wanted to invite you one last time too attend the Coal Summit, June 20-22, to be held in the West Virginia Room 105 of the Charleston Civic Center—just follow the signs off the highways.

Pre-registration is recommended, but you can register at the Summit itself. You do need to make arrangements ASAP, though, if you’d like to attend the ground or air field trips, which run from noon to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 20; 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday June 21; and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 21.

The Coal Summit opens with our keynote speaker at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. A social event that evening begins at 9:15 with musicians Kate Long, of Charleston, WV and Chad Watson, of Boone, NC.

A lively series of presentations begin at 8:45 a.m. Friday and continue through 5:30 p.m. Saturday’s events start at 1 p.m. and continue through 5:30 p.m. For a complete schedule, click here
